BE READY! was a recent startup magazine that proved to be a very successful Special Interest Publication. My job was to design the nameplate and covers, as well as oversee the direction of the magazine’s interior. I wanted to establish a brand and identity that would set itself apart from others in this niche. The images on the covers were designed to evoke curiosity and/or shock while the typography took on a subservient role.
